Congratulations to Saoirse O'Brien SHS on winning GOLD in the Junior Girls 1500m at the All Ireland Schools Track and Field Athletics Championships in Tullamore on Saturday. A great year for Saoirse who is also All Ireland Schools Cross Country Champion from March this year. 

Adam Sheridan, Rice College, took home two National Medals from Tullamore.
Adam got the day of to a winning start when he took the Boys Minor Shot Putt Title setting a new Irish School Record with a Throw of 13.65m, Three hours later he moved up an age division to secure Silver in the Junior Boys Discus.

There were great performances also from Sorcha McAllister 4th in the Senior Girls 1500m, 5th for Aoife O'Brien in the Girls Intern1500m Steplechase, Ethan Lloyd 6th in the Junior Boys 1500m and Jack Maher in the Senior Boys 1 Mile.
