Final reminder for The Sligo Champion Streets of Sligo 5k on
Sunday next, June 17th. Run in connection with Sligo AC the
race, fun run and walk will be held across a flat, accurate course through Sligo’s historic streets. The race, which has
an AAI permit and chip timing by Precision Timing will start at 1.15 p.m
by the Mayor of Sligo, Clr. Rosaleen O’Grady at Markievicz Road and finish at O’Connell Street.

Refreshments afterwards in the Glasshouse Hotel where
changing facilities will also be available.
Online entries will close at precisiontiming.net on Friday
evening. You can still enter by calling to the offices of The Sligo
Champion at Markievicz Road
(opposite Glasshouse Hotel) on Saturday from 2- 6 p.m. and on the morning of
the race up to midday. Number collection will also be on Saturday and
